Star Wars fans attending this year's
New York Comic Con (Oct. 4-7, 2018) can look forward to the
Star Wars Fan Club Experience at
Annex 37, in which the five area fan groups will come together for fun and charity. Annex 37 will be open Thursday through Saturday from 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM and Sunday from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM. You can attend this experience with a valid NYCC badge for any day.
Droid Builders
The rolling, beeping Astromech droids (think R2-D2) will not be hard to spot at Annex 37. Creating movie-real droids, the Builders enjoy building, rolling, and racing droids, and helping others do the same
Empire Saber Guild
Padawan learners will pick up tips and training on how to wield a lightsaber as a Jedi. The Empire Saber Guild shares their love of Star Wars with people of all ages, and spreads hope, good will, and a little bit of wonder wherever they go.
Mandalorian Mercs
Fantastic and individualized armor is a hallmark of the Mandalorian Mercs, a global costuming club inspired by bounty hunters in the Star Wars galaxy. Individual expression is encouraged, and charitable appearances and efforts for communities the norm.
Rebel Legion - North Ridge Patrol
Representing the "good guys" of the Star Wars galaxy, the Rebel Legion will have costumes and props on display. Their charitable work is global, with Rebel "bases" in countries all over the world.
501st Legion: Empire City Garrison
Stormtroopers, Sith Lords and Vaders, Oh my! The 501st Legion might represent the Dark Side of the Force, but their charitable efforts raise money for charities all over the world. Come "Blast A Trooper" and contribute to their latest cause.
