Han Solo, Luke Skywalker And Lando Calrissian Together Again For Galaxy's Edge Dedication Ceremony

By Jay Cochran on 2019-05-30 in Disney
Last night was the official dedication ceremony for Disney's new Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge attraction at Disneyland, and in attendance was Disney CEO Bob Igor as well as Star Wars creator George Lucas. Joining them where Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Billy Dee Williams. Ford brought tears to the eyes of many in the crowd by honoring his friend, the late Peter Mayhew who played Chewbacca in the movies. Ford fired up the Falcon and said "Peter, this ones for you".

Not at all, it's pretty much what the majority of star wars fans wanted. I don't mind the new characters but I feel they could have done a better job of using the established characters, incorporating the new ones and do the proverbial passing of the torch. As for the Galaxy's Edge dedication it was nice to see the actors there with George Lucas, I was happy to see George there being involved with Star Wars. I read that Harrison Ford dedicated the ceremony to Peter Mayhew, a very nice gesture.
