Collecting Club Patches At Celebration V

By Bespin refugee on 2010-07-29 in Celebration V
The Washington DC Area Star Wars Collecting Club (DCSWCC), The Kentucky Star Wars Collectors Club (KSWCC), The Ohio Star Wars Collectors Club (OSWCC), The Pennsylvania Star Wars Collecting Society (PSWCS), and the Star Wars Grand Florida Alliance (SWGFA), five of the largest Star Wars collecting clubs in the US, will have specially made patches available at Celebration V. The five extremely limited embroidered triangular patches, which fit together to form a larger image of Boba Fett, will be free exclusively at Star Wars Celebration V and distributed by each club. The patches were designed by web cartoonist Bill Cable.

I had the same good luck Thursday night. After weeks of no Joes, the local Wally-World got in Wave 5, Wave 4 comic packs, and the DVD sets.

They dind't have the newest comic book packs only the one w/ copperhear, shipwreck, firefly, storm shadow, duke, and red star.

Same at mine, and I've already got all of those.

I saw the Entertainment Packs at Wal-Mart too.

I really wanted to get them right there but I have them ordered fro HasbroShop.

I think I am going to start calling them HaslowShop.

Had a good toy run today, myself.

I got the DVD packs, wave 5 and a couple of the vehicles. I spotted this older fella going thru the new SW toys (clone wars stuff) and I stopped next to him to take a look at'em and he was pretty cool. let me know he had just gone thru all of them, and wanted to know if there was anything in particular I was looking for. I let him know I was just curious as to what they all looked like, checking them out and such.

He went on to tell me he had 2 of the AT-AT (is that right?) but hadn't found the MF yet, and that he had to "fix" the AT-AT even, as it was so heavy the legs kept falling off, so he bought some piece of hose in the same diameter as the piece that should "snap" the legs into place, and it worked perfectly.

Pretty cool run in with another "adult" toy collector.
