"The Official
Star Wars Fan Club has rounded up some amazing raffle -- including a special, signed card from George Lucas -- that will be given out to members who attend the annual fan club breakfast during San Diego Comic-Con International. The breakfast takes place Friday, July 24, 2009, from 7 am to 9 am, in the Seaview room of the Marriott Hotel & Marina, directly next to the San Diego Convention Center. Tickets sales have been strong, but some are
still available at OfficialPix.
In addition, every attendee will get one of Hasbro's exclusive San Diego Comic-Con action figures, "smiling" Luke Skywalker as an X-wing pilot; a cool Fan Club Breakfast exclusive T-shirt; and an OfficialPix
Clone Wars Obi-Wan trading card that will be personally autographed by James Arnold Taylor, the voice actor who portrays Obi-Wan in the animated series. Other guests include Dave Filoni, supervising director of
Star Wars: The Clone Wars; Derryl DePriest, who is in charge of
Star Wars business at Hasbro; and Steve Sansweet Lucasfilm's head of fan relations. The breakfast will be hosted by
Bantha Tracks editor Mary Franklin.
Reservations must be made by Wednesday, July 8th to specify exact sizes for your T-shirts..."
