BBC reports that the new Star Wars game coming for Microsoft's new "Kinect" motion sensor for the Xbox 360 won't be out till the 2011 Holiday season. This is according to Kudo Tsunoda, creative director for Kinect.

Microsoft teased the upcoming game this past summer at the Entertainment Electronics Expo which you can see below. The new Kinect motion sensor was just released by Microsoft this year to compete with the Nintendo Wii and Playstations' "Move" controller.

After Christmas we reset toys again

I'm hoping by then there won't be any more movie figures because it will confuse the parents and they will think "Oh they have been out for months we can wait as they will tell there their children the future collectors who will be on these boards someday.

those movie toys are really getting old ... mine got more in as well! When the heck does the new TF movie hit again?.. will be poor for sales having first movie stuff warming the pegs...

The movie stuff, while not blazing the way it was, IS still selling. My store probably gets about a case of them a week in. (deluxe) If I didn't work at a Target though, I'd swear they were the same figures warming pegs, but they're not.

Thing is, they sell gradually. A few get put out when the case come in and the rest trickle out of the back until those are gone and another case comes in. Unless people were watching every store with a magnifying glass, they probably would just think it's the same figures not selling and that's not really the case.

At least not everywhere. Seeing they are still steadily coming, I'm guessing nobody is complaining of them not selling anymore or stores wouldn't still be ordering them.

You gotta think it's pretty amazing though. I can't think of a movie toy line that still had figures going like this well over a year after the movie came out. Usually by now the only way you'd find them in a store was old stock at TRU or KB taking all the leftovers.

Maybe not that good for getting new stuff out, but I think it really speaks volumes about the amazing effect the movie has had.

You gotta think too that now the movie has hit HBO finally, that it may once again give the line a little kick.
