Star Wars in Motion Exhibit Added to Lucas Museum of Narrative Arts' Opening Lineup

The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art has announced the exhibition, “Star Wars in Motion.” This showcase will be among more than 30 installations scheduled to debut with the Museum’s opening on September 22. The exhibition will offer visitors an immersive experience through a curated selection of innovative vehicle designs, props, costumes, and illustrations from the first six films of George Lucas's Star Wars saga.

Co-founded by George Lucas and Mellody Hobson, and situated in Los Angeles's Exposition Park, the museum occupies a 300,000-square-foot facility designed by Ma Yansong. The building seeks to reflect the emotional impact of narrative art, fostering wonder, possibility, and a connection to broader themes. Integrated into an 11-acre campus, the site includes a park offering a multi-layered space for community engagement and outdoor educational programming.
