Disney Cruise Line To Add Millennium Falcon Play Area

By Bespin refugee on 2015-04-21 in General News
This Fall, Disney Cruise Line will add a number of new themed areas, including a Star Wars area. Part of Disney’s Oceaneer Club (ages three to 12), the Millennium Falcon play area will allow kids can join the Rebel Alliance; ' to assist with navigation, sit in the cockpit, and pilot the ship through hyperspace and trigger lightspeed jumps to different locations around the galaxy.'

There will also be crafts, games and activities, as well as episodes from the Disney XD animated series, “Star Wars Rebels”; and the Jedi Training Academy experience will allow kids to use the Force to face off against Darth Vader.

Adults will also have a chance to check out the Star Wars area during an open house period, before it sets sail.
