Boeing And ANA Roll Out Their 'R2-D2' Plane

[9/14/15] This weekend, Boeing and All Nippon Airways rolled out a ‘Star Wars’ themed plane—featuring an R2-D2 deco; the plane will begin flying on October 18.

Japanese carrier All Nippon Airways (ANA) launches a five-year "Star Wars Project" with a new 787-9 Dreamliner painted to look like R2-D2. The jet features R2's blue and white designs on its nose, as well as the Star Wars logo near the tail.
