Star Wars: Poe Dameron Comic To Debut In April

By Bespin refugee on 2016-01-14 in Comics & Books

Fans of The Force Awakens' ace pilot Poe Dameron will find more about the character when Star Wars: Poe Dameron begins in April; the new ongoing comic series is written by Charles Soule (Star Wars: Lando), with art by Phil Noto (Star Wars: Chewbacca). The comic focuses on the lead-up to the opening scene of the film, with Poe seeking out Max Von Sydow's character, Lor San Tekka, as well as digging into Poe's status as the Resistance's top pilot. Prior to this series, Dameron's backstory has been explored in the Shattered Empire miniseries, with his parents, A-Wing pilot Shara Bey and soldier Kes Dameron taking part in the battle of Endor.
