Star Wars Childrens Books Coming From Disney Publishing

In anticipation of the December 2015 release of Star Wars: Episode VII, Disney Publishing will introduce new generations to the Original Trilogy with four new retellings of the original films by childrens authors; "The Adventures of Luke Skywalker", written by Tony DiTerlizzi (The Spiderwick Chronicles) and illustrated by Ralph McQuarrie's original concept art paintings, and adaptations of Episodes IV-VI; A New Hope by R.J. Palacio (Wonder), The Empire Strikes Back by Adam Gidwitz (A Tale Dark And Grim), and Return of the Jedi by Tom Angleberger (Origami Yoda Series), each of them illustrated by Ian McCaig, prequel concept artist and designer behind the look of Darth Maul.
