Long time comic artist Carmine Infantino, who worked on a number of issues of Marvel Comics' Star Wars run as interior and cover penciller, has died at age 87.

I think more people know his work on the Flash.

I would hope so but it is more interesting how he helped Marvel out so much!

I always think of him as the indirect creator of the new x-Men.

Bless his heart...I didn't recognize the name, but I sure recognized his work. I always did love his illustrations in those early Marvel books. They're part of my earliest memories related to Star Wars. May he rest in peace. His talent will truly be missed.
