Hasbro's Star Wars Unleashed Wave 6 figures Written by: Brandon Miller
Hasbro's Unleashed series continues with wave 6 that includes three characters from the Star Wars saga. The charcters are Yoda, Han Solo, and Boba Fett. The Fett figure is of his adult years. Hasbro previously released in series one Darth Maul, Jango and Boba Fett. In the second series Anikan Skywalker, Padmae Amidala, and Darth Vader. In the third installment Mace Windu and Darth Tyranus, fourth series concist of Princess Leia and Darth Vader (same release as before) with a removable hemelt, and series five has younger Obi-Wan Kenoi, Luke Skywalker, and Darth Sidious. I'm about to review on series six here and I hope you enjoy it!
Accessories: Yoda includes hangar base, vapor trail, force lightning, and green lightsaber. Solo includes a rase base of the Millennium Falcon and included with Boba Fett is part of the Sarlac and it tenticles, jet pack, blaster rifle, and flame. All of the accessories are look great and are very accurate but more about that later!
Articulation: These figures are mini statues and in My opinion they do not require articulation. I love the Unleashed series and I think movements in the figures would totally ruin just not the sculpt but the figure itself. Though some figures in the Unleashed series do have wrist and arm movement. These in My opinion are meant to be the affordable answer to statue question collectors have been wanting!
Durability: All three figures are very durable but do be careful with Yoda's wrists and lightsaber but other than that these figures are very sturdy!
Packaging: Series six has new packing. It now has artwork on the top front of the card and a new Unleashed logo and character name style. I am still disapointed that there is still no pictures of the characters but it does look beter with the character artwork though it is not something I prefer. This new packaging is neat and ghive this awesome series a huge boost!
Paint: The paint applications are neat and I am impressed how accurate it loks to the films. There maybe a tiny blotch of white on Yoda here and there and a couple light spots on Han's hair but there is no major problems. It all looks fantastic!
Sculpting: The strength of the Unleashed figures lie here! I am so amazed how this series is and especially I am dazzled over these figures here! I really like how Yoda's face looks very angry! His clothes are flowing nicely and his hands and feet look real! Han Solo looks just like he did in the film, A New Hope! The sculpting is really incredible here! The entire figure looks so real. The hair, facial expression, hands and let's just face it, the whole body looks so good its extraordinary how much this looks like Harrison Ford! He is even got his scar and mole on the chin! Boba Fett also looks incredible! The dents and scrape marks on his helmet, armor, jet pack, and his gun looks accurate! His body really resemb1les his countpart! The Sarlac Pit and its tenticles look very neat! The flame that connects into his jet pack looks awesome! I don't know what else there is to say about this subject!
Overall: In My opinion this is one of the best sets of the Unleashed series so far! You have three great characters, three awesome figures with little or no paint problems, superb sculpting which I believe this is the best Han Solo figure released, great displaying, and at an very affordable price ! What more could a Star Wars fan and figure collector want? These figures bring so much to the table that in My opinion this is a must own and I believe most Star Wars collectors and fans will love these figures in their collection!
