Yeah I know what its used for in the film, but you dont get any luggage etc with the X-Wing, so I was wondering what it was used, if at all in previous releases where they used the same mould.

The previous versions included a degobah crash landing version, complete with the luggage, all of lukes gear when he set up camp. This new ship almost without a doubt uses the same mold. Hence the cargo hatch.

Also I think there was a "hack" fans dicovered to help the droopy wings. Its not exactly the wings themselves that droop, the the locking mechanism to "lock s foils in attack position" that needs a brace. You could "wedge" (lol sorry) something in there to help. I just can't remember what it was.

Looks like the same droopy wings that the previous models suffered from. Also, the compartment on the bottom that you don't know about is where Luke puts his luggage. It is clearly seen in ESB when he is leaving Dagobah. I'm surprised a Star Wars fan did not know this.

We need a side-by-side comparison to the one that came out about 10 years ago. Still have mine (in a box somewhere) and iirc it was super detailed.
