New Fantastic Four Trailer With Star Wars: Episode III

By Outsiders on 2005-05-18 in Movie & TV
The first and only place moviegoers can catch the highly anticipated new trailer for Twentieth Century Fox's summer tentpole picture Fantastic Four, is on movie theater screens showing Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith.

Audiences at "Revenge of the Sith" showings will get the most extensive look yet at Marvel's first family of superheroes, their incredible powers – and the critical trait that set them apart from other comics-to-film icons: their celebrity is based in part of the fact that they don't hide behind secret identities.

Fantastic Four, which opens nationwide on July 8th, is the next big franchise based on a Marvel property, following on the heels of the blockbuster successes of X2: X-Men United and Spider-Man 2.

The film stars Ioan Gruffudd as Mr. Fantastic, who can bend, stretch, and expand his body in any imaginable way; Jessica Alba as Invisible Woman, who can make herself disappear, generate invisible force fields, and fire invisible power blasts from her hands; Chris Evans as The Human Torch, who can become a human fireball; Michael Chiklis as The Thing, a superhuman, super strong creature with an irreversible orange-colored rocky exterior; and Julian McMahon, as the villainous Dr. Doom, who possesses superhuman strength and the ability to shoot lethal electrical blasts.

Tim Story directs from a screenplay written by Mark Frost and Michael France. The producers are Chris Columbus, Bernd Eichinger, Avi Arad, and Ralph Winter.

One of the world's largest producers and distributors of motion pictures, Fox Filmed Entertainment produces, acquires and distributes motion pictures throughout the world. These motion pictures are produced or acquired by the following units of FFE: Twentieth Century Fox, Fox 2000, Fox Searchlight Pictures and Twentieth Century Fox Animation.
