'Star Wars' Theme To Be Released As Single

By Outsiders on 2005-04-19 in Movie & TV
The theme to Star Wars Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith will be made available as a single to coincide with the movie's release.

Reuters quotes HMV stores spokesman Gennaro Castaldo as saying: "Only 'Star Wars' could do it.

"I'm not sure it will get to number one, but it should have a strong showing in the top 10."

He added that the inclusion of downloads in the calculation of sales charts will give Battle of the Heroes, released on May 23, a strong boost.

The piece was written by Oscar-winning composer John Williams and portrays the struggle between Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi.
