All that being said, the Clone Wars TV show is a lot of filler. There are lots of kid-focused episodes that could be cut and the story boiled down to highlights of the war and Anakin's descent into the Dark Side. Someone is capable of making that more interesting than the original show (which I still love) did. But I don't think it's the current Disney creative team.
Yeah I mean, I agree with you on the Hayden is certainly an actor I apperciate more as time has gone on, and agree with his portrayal of Anakin in the prequels was somewhat lusterless and awkward for a large portion, not sure really if he was directed to seem to stiff and blank but I digress, That was my thinking as well, the Clone war show had a lot of Kid oriented writing, it really varied, and a ton of unimportant episodes for episode sake, so I mean they could just cut that make something more cohesive, but as you say I don't even think Hayden can play Anakin better then the animation as that portrayal had far more depth.. Also he is older and I'm not even sure that he has the ability to carry almost an entire trilogy.
they should probably leave it as is, focus on telling Star Wars Stories that havn't been told, rather then rehashing...everyone who cares knows the Clone Wars story.
In my Opinion if you were gonna give somebody a solo film or two from the prequels...I'd be in for Samuel L. doing a Mace Windu film, just for the fun.

Honestly could be a very cool thing, but that's a lot of story, they'd have to cut out a ton of it, even to make like 3-4 films, also what's really the point when we have the show? sure it would be cool to see in Live Action, but how much better? also Hayden is kinda a bit old now...
