Huge Debut in the New Mandalorian and Grogu TV Spot

By Shawn Kirk on 2026-03-23 in Movie & TV
A new 30-second TV spot for The Mandalorian and Grogu was released. The teaser confirms the duo will face "gangsters, warlords, and monsters". It also shows a more proactive Grogu, including a sequence where he operates independently while Din Djarin is captured.

In a huge reveal, we see Marrok, an Anooba from The Clone Wars, making his live-action debut. There's also the Hutt Twins (last seen in The Book of Boba Fett) and four Anzellans seen accompanying Grogu on a mission.

The film, directed by Jon Favreau, will premiere in theaters and IMAX on May 22, 2026. It stars Pedro Pascal, Sigourney Weaver, Jeremy Allen White and is set after the fall of the Empire.
