Star Wars Casting Rumor: Mary Elizabeth Winstead To Join Disney+ Ahsoka Series?

The latest rumor has another animated character making the jump to live-action, with Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Scott Pilgrim vs. the World) said to be cast as Star Wars: Rebels' Hera Syndulla for the upcoming Ahsoka series on Disney+. At this point, it has yet to be officially confirmed, though. Stay tuned for updates....

Im excited to see her too, but yeah I agree its kinda weird. Its almost like shes there just because of Ewen (no disrespect to her)

I love MEW... but isn't she too tall to be Hera? I thought she'd be cast as someone else/someone new... let's see where this goes.

Why wouldn't they just get the original actress? I thought she already played her in the Squadrons video game. I like the Ahsoka character but didn't much cared for Rebels so I'm 50/50 on this series.

THRreports that Ray Stevenson (Vikings) has been cast in the upcomingAhsokaseries for Disney+. "It is unclear who Stevenson will play, but sources say he is a villain in the series and will play an admiral although, not Thrawn." The series, starring Rosario Dawson, is scheduled to begin filming at the end of April.

Varietyreports Ukrainian actress Ivanna Sakhno ( Pacific Rim: Uprising, The Spy Who Dumped Me",Ivan the Powerful") has been cast in the Disney+ Ahsoa Tano series, alongside Rosario Dawson andNatasha Liu Bordizzo. Sakhno is thought to play an original character created for the series.
