Star Wars OT Vehicle Designer Colin Cantwell Has Died

Colin Cantwell, who worked on 2001: A Space Odyssey, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Wargames, and helped to design many of the iconic ships from Star Wars, has died at 90. According to Wookiepedia, Cantwell helped to design the X-Wing, the Skyhopper, TIE Fighter, Death Star, Star Destroyer, the 'Pirate Ship" (parts of which would become the Tantive IV and Millennium Falcon), Sandcrawler, and Landspeeder.
