Lynne Hale, Vice President of Publicity and Communications at Lucasfilm, who has overseen the 1997 release of the Special Editions of the Original Trilogy, the release of the Prequel Trilogy, the films o the Disney era, and The Mandalorian, among others, is retiring after 35 years at the company.

Lucasfilm has named Derek Hoffman as their new vice president of development, he will oversee development of live-action projects. Hoffman has worked in the film, video game and comic book industry for the last 24 years. starting out in Richard Donners Company He later became a development executive and vice president for the company, working on each film in the X-Men franchise, including as associate producer on X-Men: Days of Future Past. He also spearheaded the franchises move into television, serving as co-executive producer on the FX series Legion and as executive producer on Foxs The Gifted.(Sources:The Wrap,Lucasfilm)
