Depending on the timeline I guess it makes sense for them not to have K-2SO show up at least not yet anyway.
This one and the Book of Boba Fett, are the live action projects for which I have most interest, maybe Visions will also be interesting.
While Lucasfilm announced K-2SO to be part of the upcoming Andor series, Alan Tudyk, the actor who helped bring him to life in Rogue One reveals he is not currently involved with the series. "They're shooting it right now, I'm not in it. But, if it stays on the air, stories keep getting told, I'll end up in there.". Depending on how far they are into filming, is K-SO being introduced later in the season, or are there plans for a second season? Due to the challenges of preforming his character using stilts, Tudyk hopes to be included soon. "...I turn 50 in March. So I hope they get to it soon, because I'm not going to be on stilts in, like, five years. I'm not doing it!"(Source: EmpireOnline)
As part of the Lucasfilm portion of
Disney's 2020 Investor Day event, this video was released, giving a behind the scenes preview of Star Wars: Andor, coming soon to Disney+
During a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, actor Diego Luna says he is 'with some friends' in London, currently shooting '...a tiny little thing,...a short film...with Diney+ and Lucasfilm involved'. You can see the entire interview here:The series, set before the events of Rogue One, was announced in 2018, and will star Diego Luna (Cassian), Alan Tudyk (K2SO), Genevieve O'Reilly (Mon Mothma) , Denise Gough , Stellan Skarsgard, Kyle Soller, and Adria Arjona
Something tells me this won't be starting production this year after all.
It's always good to see more alien designs, but I hope we see some familiar ones too.
Rogue One is my favorite Star Wars, so I'm incredibly hyped about this series.
