Disney+ Cassian Andor Rogue One Prequel Series To Begin Production This Year

By Jay Cochran on 2020-02-12 in Movie & TV
In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Diego Luna confirmed that the Disney+ Rogue One prequel series based on Cassian Andor will go into production this year. Luna first portrayed the character of Andor in the Rogue One movie, and now will hold the starring role for this new series along with Alan Tudyk as the droid K-2SO.

The Andor series will be joining the likes of the successful Mondarlorian series which will see season 2 kick off in October. Also coming to Disney+ will be the final season of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series, which kicks off later this month on February 21, and the Ewan McGregor Obi-Wan Kenobi series, which had it's production pushed back until early next year as they rework some of the scripts.
