Jon Favreau "Would Love To Do A Holiday Special"?

The infamous Holiday Special,...with all of its 70's Wookiee weirdness, had influences on The Mandalorian, the live action series comimg to the Disney+ Streaming service on November 12th.

Specifically, the debut of Boba Fett in the animated segment, including that rifle design, director/prodicer Jon Favreau draws inspiration from it, "...That animated piece still holds up. It's pretty cool." Speaking backstage at the 45th annual Saturn Awards over the weekend, Favreau adds, "I would love to do a Holiday Special,...If you want to see a Holiday Special, let Disney+ know."
