Jon Favreau would write and executive produce a live-action Star Wars series, not a lot has been revealed about it. He did say
it would take place after Return Of The Jedi, and it was said to take place on Mandalore, but, there was no official word, until now,...
Jon Favreau has posted this on his Instagram account:
"The Mandalorian
After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic."
The series is said to begin filming later this year, and will run on Disney's new streaming service, scheduled to launch in 2019.
