'Indiana Jones 5' Now Moved To 2021 Release Date

Bespin refugee - July 10, 2018
With Jonathan Kasdan, son of Raiders of the Lost Ark scriptwriter Lawrence Kasdan, taking over for previous scriptwriter David Koepp, Disney has pushed back the next installment in the Indiana Jones franchise to 2021. The film, first announced in 2016, was previously announced for July 2019, and then Summer 2020, before scheduling conflicts led to Kasdan being brought in to write a new draft of the script. Steven Speilberg will return to direct, along with Harrison Ford in the title role.
