Michael Giacchino Takes Over As Composer For Star Wars: Rogue One

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the reshoots that took place earlier this year for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, have lead to Michael Giacchino (Star Trek (reboot), Inside Out, The Incredibles) taking over as composer, replacing Alexandre Desplat.

Directed by Gareth Edwards, Rogue One tells the story of resistance fighters who have united to steal plans to the dreaded Death Star. The movie stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Jiang Wen, Riz Ahmed, Forest Whitaker, Mads Mikkelsen and Alan Tudyk.

Rogue One - A Star Wars Story opens in theaters on December 16, 2016.
