On the red carpet for this weekend's Screen Actors Guild Awards, Gwendoline Christie (
Game Of Thrones) confirmed her return, as Captain Phasma, for
Episode VIII, "I will be in the next Star Wars movie", she said, "I think that's an exclusive, actually."
Star Wars: Episode VIII, scheduled for release in December 2017, will be directed by Rian Johnson, and is said to begin filming in February.
