By Jay Cochran on 2015-12-18 in Movie & TV
Star Wars: The Force Awakens takes a industry record by breaking the $100 million mark for its first full day in theaters today. Some reports indicate it could reach $130 million by nights ends. The previous record holder for an opening Friday was Warner Bros. “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2” back in July 2011.

As of this report Force Awakens is currently on track to also take the opening weekend record held by this past summer's Jurassic World which brought in $208.8 million. Have you seen Star Wars: The Force Awakens yet, if so what did you think of the movie?
