Less than a week after
the title was revealed, it appears we also know who will compose the score for the first
Star Wars stand-alone film, '
Rogue One.' Alexandre Desplat, who worked with director Gareth Edwards on 2014's '
Godzilla,' has also followed in John Williams' footsteps on another franchise, composing the score for
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Parts 1 & 2. '
Rogue One' begins filming this summer in London, for release on December 16, 2016.
