Unaltered Star Wars: Original Trilogy Coming To Blu-ray

By Jay Cochran on 2014-05-19 in Movie & TV
Amongst all the Star Wars rumors floating around out there (and there are many) this one seems like a no-brainier for the studio to do. According to Bleeding Cool, Disney is seriously considering releasing a Blu-ray set containing the original Star Wars movies as they originally appeared on the big screen before George Lucas decided to start changing them around and adding all those CGI effects and such today. So scenes like the Catina one with Han and Greedo, so Han would actually shoot first like was originally intended.

Anyway this is only rumor at this point so don't get your hopes up just yet, but something to look forward to as a possibility. Of course the story Bleeding Cool ran goes on to say they've also heard rumors that Disney is considering whipping our the prequel trilogy from official cannon all-together which I would say there is about as much chance of that happening as nothing.
