Peter Mayhew Filming This May?

Bespin refugee - March 31, 2014
Last year, there was a Episode VII casting rumor, looking for 7 to 7.3 ft tall slim/tall male, which led many to think Peter Mayhew might be replaced as Chewbacca in the Star Wars sequels; but, a recent announcement may have improved our chances of seeing more of the original cast in action again. A tweet by Comicpalooza Con, where Mayhew was schedule to appear next month, states, "We regret to announce that Peter Mayhew is canceling his appearance at Comicpalooza this year due to filming." The convention's timeframe (May 23-26th) would seem to conflict with Episode VII's May 2014 filming schedule which was recently announced.
