'Star Wars' Characters To Appear In Lego Movie

By Outsiders on 2013-11-20 in Movie & TV
A source close to "The LEGO Movie" is confirming that characters from Star Wars will be featured in the February animated theater release. The source wouldn't say which characters we'll see in the movie but an unveiling of the "Star Wars" characters’ role in the movie is planned for later.

Trailer and promotions for "The Lego Movie" have shown DC Comics superheroes such as Batman and Wonder Woman as DC is owned by Time Warner Inc.'s Warner Bros., which is releasing "The Lego Movie." The Star Wars characters are owned by Warner competitor Walt Disney Co. It's possible that Warner Bros. and Disney worked out a character deal for the movie but both Warner Bros. and Disney are not commenting.
