According to Howard Roffman, president of Lucas Licensing,
Seth Green's animated Star Wars tv comedy series will premiere “within the next two years”. During the Brand Licensing Europe 2011 exhibition, Roffman discussed the role that new technology, like animation and 3D, play in keeping the brand fresh, and introducing a third generation of fans to the property. A "totally new
Star Wars™ live action TV series" (diiferent from the long discussed/delayed series, set between Episodes 3 & 4?) was also hinted at, as a possibility for the future.
