Uncle George and Co. just can't stop tinkering! Two new alterations to the classic trilogy have been making their way around the internets today. The first comes from the original Star Wars film, and its not really a new change. Ben Kenobi's scream to scare off the Tusken Raiders had been altered previously, but it seems as if Uncle George wasn't quite happy with it the second time around. Is the third time the charm? SPOILER ALERT!: Eh, not so much. But don't take my word for it, see WideAsleepFilm's youtube video of it and judge for yourself:
The second change comes from Return of the Jedi, and will be sure to induce much groaning world wide! Revenge of the Sith is infamous for Darth Vader's boisterous "NOOOOOO!", but if you didn't get enough of it then prepare yourself for round 2:
(Update: This change is officially confirmed via The New York Times and a Lucasfilm e-mail, “Yes — Darth says NO.”)
Honestly this one doesn't bother me as much. It doesn't seem quite as over the top as the scene from 'Revenge.' I have a feeling I may be in the minority for that opinion though! Special thanks to WideAsleepFilm for sharing this on youtube.
