These were interesting when revealed and the only one that spoke to me was the Mr. Freeze. Got him yesterday and glad I picked him up.

Shown below via robdtoys is an in-hand look at the new DC Multiverse Ambush Bug 7-inch Figure from McFarlane Toys. You can purchase this figure from our sponsors BigBadToyStore.com and Entertainment Earth as well as Amazon with suggested retail price of $22.99.

I am unfamiliar with this character. Is he meant to be a comical character similar to the Tick or Freakazoid? (Now I want a Freakazoid figure lol)

Pre order booster and ambush bug

Is it just the paint on freeze? Is that really all the difference. Because frak he looks good.

Mr. Freeze looks really good when they paint him.

All I can say about Booster is that $23 is now the bare minimum you can pay for a modern day "adult collectible" and it appears that means you are now given the bare minimum content as well. It's a bummer. I've cut way, way down on McFarlane (and most other stuff) recently. However, Mr. Freeze has just enough good stuff going on to warrant me getting him.

(Also a shout out to BBTS. I had a little snafu that was completely my doing when I preordered Freeze from them, and they fixed my mistake immediately. They're awesome).

Well I am glad to see an Amush Bug and I do like the deco on this Booster Gold but do wish these came with extra hands and accessories. Seems like a rather plain offering from Mcfarlane this time around. One other thing I do wish was addressed on these figures is the way the knee and elbow joint cuts are done. They look terrible these Multiverse figures.

Glad to finally see Ambush Bug in the action figure, that's an achievement in itself, Freeze was solid figure before and it's probably the best paint job so far, Booster gold is definitely lacking, they could have done something way more interesting with his glasses, either paint them with reflection effect or make them translucent.

Well, this is kind of a sad offering. Picking up Mr. Freeze, because those colors are finally perfect, but not loving the double-dip (or in this case, quadruple-dip) nature that has become The Modern McFarlane.

But hey, at least they finally matched the picture with the design on Ambush Bug, eh?
