Battle Of Kashyyyk Republic Gunship By Dark Horse



I love customising gunships. I'm up to ten now. With this one, I wanted to go in a slightly different direction. I like taking my figures out to parks and such for toy pics, but there's not too much background sandscapes or in scale cityscapes. There's quite a lot of green areas though, so I decided to give camo a try after getting a few Kashyyyk troops.

I started with a cheap crumb bomber, added the cockpit cover from a command gunship I had spare, 3d printed gatling guns/ under and over wing missiles, and repainted an AT-RT to match.

I made stencils for all the patches and used three different colours to spray them. I got some repro stickers from eBay to apply. Lastly, I scratched a few wear marks to match the canopy with a knife. The effect in person is really nice.

Pretty happy with the result. Looking forward to taking it out in location as soon as possible.
