Star Wars Custom Of The Week: Rebels Battle Damaged Darth Vader By Customs For The Kid

Bespin refugee - November 24, 2019

This week's custom is a 3 3/4" "Battle Damaged" Darth Vader (Star Wars Rebels by Customs For The Kid

"This was an action figure that we threw together on the fly in between working on other projects. Dad bored out the head of the Darth Vader and used a hot knife to achieve a precise cut in Vader's helmet. I took the head of a 2012 Clone Wars Anakin Skywalker action figure that came with the Lightsaber Launcher and created a press mold of his face with some ProCreate, waited for it to dry, and then poured some liquid resin into my press mold. Once the cast solidified, we cut the cast to shape, painted in all the details, inserted the piece into our newly created hole carved into Vader's head and glued it into place."
