This week's custom is a
Scout Trooper - Endor by Hemble Creations
Here' some of what went into it:
"
Hi All,
Started a new dio and this is a scout trooper on Endor.
The trunks are from the local bush and I have treated them using metholated spirits, the spirits soaks into the wood and then you let it dry out either outside or a well ventilated area.
Give it about 12 hours to dry out completely and your then good to, I secured them to the base then used a mix of spakfilla,sand and dirt to cover the base.

Have started the ground work and the first two pics I have used lichen moss, ground up leaves, chopped dry grass and mixed it all together and then glued it onto the base.
Once the foliage mix was dry I then used watered down Vallejo Flat Brown and covered the foliage mix. Once the wash was dry I then glued the first lot of greenery in place.

I added some plants to give the ground work more depth, I then added the small ferns and the last part was the larger ferns.
I still have small tufts of grass and moss to add to the ground work and trees.

The base is done for the Scout trooper, I just need to complete the Scout and speeder.
I added a bit more dead foliage to the base and the moss is done buy mixing sand/spakfilla and Vallejo's medium green paint together and then I just dapped it on where I wanted it."
