right, the '82 toyline did bomb.
but I think many fans simply weren't aware of how cool Indy was, until AFTER Temple of Doom, and Last Crusade came about.

Star Wars toys allways sold and it was the best time since Dark Horse was releasing new Star Wars comics and we knew Lucas was about to start the new trilogy
Indy on the other hand didn't have figures since around 1982 they toyline bombed

why was Star Wars marketable in '95, with no movies or any other media, but Indy isn't?
10 years ago Hasbro would of said there was no interest and they would of been right
