An auction for Debbie Reynolds Hollywood memorabilia put on by Profiles in History for the Panavision PSR 35mm camera that George Lucas used for principal photography on the first Star Wars movie in 1977 sold over the weekend for $625,000.

This final price is a record price for a movie camera that was been fully restored and in working condition. The auction also included a complete camera package: two 1000-foot. magazines, a Panaspeed motor, matte box, follow focus, a Moy geared head, an Italian-made Elemack camera dolly and lens.
