Giant LEGO Santa Yoda Coming To San Fransisco This Weekend

Jay Cochran - November 16, 2011
This Friday, November 18, you can join the folks at LEGO to help construct a 12-foot tall by 10-foot wide Santa Yoda made out of lego bricks, right next to the ice skating rink at Union Square in San Fransisco, CA.

More than 6,000 oversized LEGO bricks, created from the smaller classic LEGO building blocks, will be used to construct the model.

Building of the Santa Yoda get started on Friday, November 18th to Sunday, November 20th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day at Union Square. The giant Yoda won't be on display long though as deconstruction of the Jedi Master will begin on Monday, November 21.

From 11/21 - 12/24, LEGO will be donating up to 1 million LEGO sets to the U.S. Marine Corps' Toys for Tots program when LEGO Star Wars e-greetings are shared from their website at LegoSantaYoda.com.
