For the first time, action figure collectors can proudly share their collections with others. Way beyond the usual forum listing or Flickr page, DASH has launched today a feature that gives a collector his own web site to showcase his collection. Collectors can post their own photos and videos. They can tell their collecting story and easily share through email, Facebook or other social networking site.
With thousands of collectors already managing more than 200,000 action figures on DASH, the feature automatically shows other people the figures you collect and want. It has easy navigation and a very cool photo carousel feature. Check out a sample collection on the site.
The collection showcase feature is just one of the features available in the new DASH Collector’s Club. Club members can take advantage of a limited-time offer to get the DASH iPhone app for free. Additionally, club members get a monthly report detailing the estimated overall value of their collection. Finally, club members will be able to take advantage of DASH’s smart trading feature coming soon, enabling collectors to better identify potential opportunities to trade figures with others.
