Jay Cochran - August 13, 2010
Zeum: San Francisco's Children's Museum teams with Lucasfilm Ltd. to present Star Wars: The Clone Wars Weekend from Saturday, September 11, 2010 to Sunday September 12, 2010. The weekend-long event offers kids and families the opportunity to connect the Cartoon Network's popular animated series, Star Wars: The Clone Wars with Zeum's signature multimedia arts and technology experiences.

Zeum will feature interactive The Clone Wars-themed activities, costumes, workshops, exhibits and lightsaber activities. Visitors of all ages can train with Jedi Masters and learn how to wield a glowing lightsaber. In the Animators Studio, children and families can create untold stories of a galaxy far, far away by building clay models or using Hasbro action figures to bring the adventure to life. Inspired fans can also write a script, mix a soundtrack and direct their own Star Wars: The Clone Wars episode using Zeum's green screen special effects.

Other highlights include photo opportunities with Star Wars: The Clone Wars characters and special guests.

"We are thrilled to partner with Lucasfilm Ltd. so that our visitors can create stories using iconic characters and content that have captured the hearts and imaginations of Star Wars enthusiasts of all ages," said Audrey Yamamoto, Zeum's Executive Director. "We are proud to nurture the creativity of the next generation through animation, digital art, special effects, and music production."

"Zeum is a great cultural venue for showcasing the newest series of Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season Three. Zeum provides an inspiring, participatory environment where kids and families work together to explore ideas, share stories, and produce the unexpected," said Paul Southern, Sr. Director, Domestic Licensing & Marketing at Lucas Licensing.

In the transformative new season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, surprises wait at every turn, the fate of the galaxy hangs in the balance and the destiny of the "Chosen One" will at long last be uncovered. Thrilling, unpredictable and often humorous, the exciting new adventures of the Star Wars saga will captivate fans of all ages.

Zeum: San Francisco's Children's Museum is located at 221 Fourth Street, San Francisco, CA. The museum will be open for Star Wars: The Clone Wars Weekend on Saturday and Sunday from 11:00am - 5:00pm to the general public. I don't really recall him talking like that in the first movie though... truthfully I'm surprsied they didn't put this in the movie it self just a little punk shot at them selfs... thats totally something the joker would do to F*** with batman hahahh!
