I tell you Action Man toys just get no love, G.I.Joe is our hero here, but in the U.K. Action man has went through the same fight as joe has, recently I was handed some Action man toys (the K-9 Mission, and Vertical Mission) and I was sold on how cool Action Man is. So I go looking for Action man toys only to find that the U.K. pulled a sigma six on the line and called it Action Man A.T.O.M. The only upside to this is they have vehicles. But all wasn't lost on my toy hunt, I did find some older Action Man figures and vehicles at a local swap meet.

If you like Action Man or have tips on where I can get some cool sets send me a message, thanks.

try action figure supplies.co.uk and all the cool stuff.co.uk...there is also an action man / action force /gi joe forum called blood for the baron

have you guys heard of action force, its basically a 3 3/4 inch version of action man from the 1980s and they had the same style of articulation as the original star wars figures although most of the vechilles, weapon systems and the drivers / operators are re-issued gi joe items, for example the vamp was released as the sas force "panther" and it came with a driver called "stalker" who was snake eyes from gi joe [and confusingly the gi joe stalker was released as z force "jammer" who came with the action force version of the gi joe command center along with another figure called "gaucho" who was the gi joe gung-ho
