As young readers take that 'first step into the larger world' of reading on their own, DK Readers has a series of Star Wars books to help them along. Join the Rebels, written by Catherine Saunders, is a Level 2 book (for kids starting to read on their own) with longer sentences and increased vocabulary. Death Star Battles, written by Simon Beecroft, is a Level 3 book suited for children who read alone, with more complex sentence structure, information boxes and an alphabetical glossary. You can look for them in May 2010.
