I did, and the damn thing doesn't work! It just freezes during the initial cut scene.

I'm pissed off, big time. Sure I could just exchange it but I'm pretty sure I got the last copy. X#$%@!!!

That happened to me , I just went to the another best buy and exchanged it, no problems. I think there is a bad batch going around. The game is amazing.

Did you guys get yours for the PS3? I heard that is the only system that the game freezes on and it is happening to alot of people.

I preordered my copy from Amazon, so I still have a few days to wait. All the better with finals next week.

I picked it up this morning. I would have put it off longer but I neened a new 360 anyway.

I have one of the first 360's released and never got the red ring but the picture just went out. I had sound but no picture at all. So I just put my old hard drive on the new system and everything is back to normal. I wish they still made those 360's without hard drives though.

My copy of the game seems to be working fine. No freezing. The shows on tv are really funny.

They do it's the "Arcade" model. However even if your 360 isn't working and not covered by the original warranty it will only cost about $100 for Microsoft to fix it. My brother recently had one given to him and it wasn't reading any of the Xbox discs. It would play DVD and CD's fine though. Well he was gonna trash it and I took it instead. Contacted Microsoft about the problem and they told me the price to fix it. Sent it to them in the box the sent to me and in less then a week I got it back. The real kicker is they couldn't fix the problem so they just sent me a new one and this one is under warranty for the next year. So I just got a second 360 for $100.

We were not really sure what it was not working and thought the hard drive could have been messed up or something. I could not find any of those arcade models around here. So I went with the whole package just in case I needed a new hard drive anyway. It was going to cost something like $25 to ship it to get fixed, $100 to fix it and $25 to ship it back. Microsoft did not want to cover any shipping charges. I have been reading about others having this problem with the picture and alot got theirs back fixed but then had the red ring too and had to send them off again. I just wanted to skip all the hastle of it. Microsoft needs to do something about these problems.

After seeing that wave 7 just hit retail I've been debating which I wanted more because I don't have money for both. GTA 4 won out. Got it for PS3 this morning. Wave 7 will have to wait @sad@ .

Not realy interested in GTA, but I have bought both games and accesories for a system brfore I actually got it. Sort of since I know I'm gonna get one anyway I should start buying some of the stuff I might need down the line(extra controller, memory card, remote, etc) and then I don't have to spend so much when I do buy one. Yeah I know it silly and that it's money that could go towards the actual system itself, but I did it for my Xbox and Xbox 360 and have started to for my PS3.
