Stormtrooper Helmet Sells For $20k

An authentic STAR WARS stormtrooper helmet has been sold at auction for $20,000 (£10,000).

The memorabilia item was given to a screenwriter on the original 1977 film when he asked for a souvenir he could pass on to his young son.

Star Wars producer Gary Kurtz signed an authentication letter upon handing the plastic helmet over.
