UK Toy Fair - LEGO Star Wars Report

Bespin refugee - January 21, 2015
JediNewsUK reports on some of the products LEGO had on display at the UK Toy Fair. The Force Awakens sets hadn't arrived yet, so, only images on a laptop were available. There will be five new sets available for Summer 2015, but, no photos were allowed; here are the descriptions of the five new sets:

•Classic Flash Speeder (#75091) £34.99, from Episode I: The Phantom Menace. Green Flash Speeder comes with 5 minifigures including 2 x Battle Droids, 2 x Naboo Security Guards along with a Gungan Warrior. The Speeder itself looks great especially the large gun at the rear of the vehicle.

•Naboo Starfighter (#75092) £54.99, from Episode I: The Phantom Menace. Another new version of the iconic yellow Naboo Starfighter which looks just like the other versions we've got albeit without the silver plating which would've been great - especially at this price point. It comes with a stand and steps for the pilot to get into the cockpit and a support vehicle too. Minifigures include a Young Anakin Skywalker, Young Obi-Wan Kenobi R2-D2, Naboo Pilot, 2 x Battle Droids and 2 x Droideka's.

•Death Star Final Duel (#75093) £69.99, from Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. This playset (think of the previous sets like Jabba's Palace or last year's Cantina) comes with Emperor Palpatine in his Throne Room with lots of moveable parts and areas including sliding door access that's protected by two Royal Guards. Also Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader are included taking the minifigure count to five. Darth Vader features an all new helmet design and looks great (from the box art we were shown since none of the new minifigures from the Summer sets were on display).

•Imperial Shuttle Tydirium (#75094) £79.99, from Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. A smaller version of the UCS shuttle, but still a great looking ship with lots of hidden compartments. Comes with the crew in Endor like disguises straight from the scene from the film. Includes Han Solo, Chewbacca, Princess Leia and two Endor Rebels.

•Imperial Assault Carrier (#75106) £99.99, from Star Wars Rebels. This is a troop carrier and TIE Fighter deployment vehicle that comes complete with 4 mini TIE-Fighters and lots of hidden features too. The top has a carry handle and also lifts off to reveal a small area to play. It features a new minifigure versions of Agent Kallus, Sabine Wren (with her helmet at last), a green astromech droid, Imperial Officer and 2 x TIE Fighter Pilots.

In addition, there will also be a new LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar (#75097), featuring a McQuarrie-esque C-3PO as Santa, as well as R2-D2.
