Ahhh...I finally found the Y-Wing today at TRU. It's pricey but the free Clone Trooper manual was a nice bonus. I also got a coupon to redeem for a free CW poster next week...looks pretty sweet. Didn't have much of a chance to look over the new Y-Wing, but I am super psyched to have this in the armada now.

What surprises me is they are using the rerelease of the ARC-170 to help float the cost of the Y-wing. It sounds like they've added 30 bucks to the cost of the ARC to offset the new tooling - otherwise the Y-wing would probably be even more expensive. It's kind of a bummer in that I wouldn't bought that paint-scheme of the ARC-170, but not at more than 60 dollars. But I'm looking forward to the Y-wing in September or October!

This version of the y wing is a lot bigger that previous releases of the y-wing. Also i would like to see a pair of clone pilots come with this vehicle. It would be awesome if each one of these pilots had a different paint design on their armour as seen throughout the tv series. The 60 dollar price sems reasonable since the cost of materials has gone up. (plastic is made from crude oil for those of you who don't know).

$60 is about 10 or 20 dollars more than I expected but I've wanted a Clone Wars Y Wing ever since I saw that episode so I will pick one up!

From what I understand, this vehicle will NOT be including figures and the pics of Anakin and Ahsoka were just for display purposes at the show. So, for $60, you'd think we'd get light-up engines and a couple sound effects. Nope.-JT

I wonder if it will be an exclusive to one store

I am more then content with a 60 dollar price-point. Bear in mind that this ship has to be at least a little bigger than the Y-wing we've had for years now. In

Even a non-Clone Wars fan like myself must admire this vehicle. However, $60 is way too much for me to jump the hurdle. The figures must be adding $20 to the set (in theory). If it was $40 (plain ship) and I got a $5 coupon, I'd perhaps pick it up.The last Y-Wing was $40 with a pilot and astromech. The B-Wing with pilot was $35 for a short time before it became $40. I'd sooner pick up another one of these before this Clone Wars Y-Wing.
