STAR WARS star MARK HAMILL is jealous of the cast of the sci-fi series' prequels, because they got to perform alongside "great beauty" NATALIE PORTMAN.

The actor, who starred as Luke Skywalker in the original trilogy, admits he finds Portman - who starred in 1999s The Phantom Menace and its two sequels - more attractive than his former co-star Carrie Fisher.

He says: "Nothing against Carrie - because I had a great crush on her as well - but there's just something about Natalie's stilted dialogue. "She's gorgeous and one of the great beauties of the world."
