Bespin refugee - June 30, 2016
Despite losing a hand, and being 'forced' out of a window, Samuel L. Jackson believes his character, somehow, survived his fate in Revenge of the Sith. He was asked about Mace's apparent death in a recent q and a:

He expanded on this during 'EW Morning Live', saying, "Jedi can fall from amazing distances. And there’s a long history of one-handed Jedi. So why not?”. He adds that he has discussed this with George Lucas, "But George doesn’t have anything to do with it anymore.” And what was Lucas’ reaction? “George is like, ‘I’m okay with that. You can be alive.”
